Independence

Both independently owned and independent in spirit, Delta Impact can provide quick decision-making and proactive service to support your business requirements.

The Rebound Group

Delta Impact is part of the Rebound Group, a privately-owned global electronics business. The Group comprises Rebound Electronics UK Ltd an independent distributor of electronics components, Easby Electronics Ltd a franchised supplier of electronic components, and Delta Impact Ltd a provider of flexible manufacturing and supply chain solutions. Our annual turnover is €165m (2018) and we currently operate from 32 offices in 17 countries. The Group’s financial growth has been steady and sustainable in line with the success of our customers.

Our Leadership Team

The success of Delta Impact stems from the active leadership by a team who know the electronics business inside and out, and passionately believe that ‘Customer First’ is the only way to do business.

Simon Thake, our Group CEO, has been at the forefront of the electronic components supply industry for over 30 years. Firstly, honing his skills in purchasing and material management, before setting up Freeway Electronics in 1989 and leading it to a successful sale. His enthusiasm for the industry and passion for customer delivery, led him to co-found Rebound with Freeway director Steve Madley in 2003.

In his role as Group Sales Director, Steve has worldwide responsibility for the sales operations for the Rebound Group. His background in purchasing and materials management, means that he understands what customers need and what they value. He ensures that this knowledge is at the heart of how Rebound Electronics operates, guaranteeing positive customer experiences.

Rebound Group is underpinned by strong financial management provided by Chief Finance Officer, Peter Griffith-Jones. Peter’s extensive experience in the technology sector, including electronic component distribution, has helped him manage the Group’s steady and sustainable growth.

Our independent approach

Creating a team of people who are as focused and committed to customer delivery as they are, is vital to Simon, Steve and Peter. Our continued success is built on the quality of our people, all of whom are highly experienced, professional and collaborative. Being independent, we can be much more flexible in our approach and our ability to make decisions that support individual requirements. Swift decision-making, flexible solutions and proactive service ensure we are strategically important to our customers’ businesses.

How to Reduce Lead Times in Your Supply Chain

Slow lead times can be incredibly frustrating, for customers and OEMs alike. Lengthy lead times in a supply chain slow down all processes in a ripple effect. Having to wait for parts often means that your customers have to wait longer than they expected and this can result in a loss of business.
